About Me

Since a young age, I've loved working with different materials to shape the world around me. Staring with legos and building blocks is soon turned to wood carving, clay, and painting.

I made jewelry and board games and discovered the beauty of UHD foam. I built my own foam cutter and created tons of different environments and characters inspired by a multitude of video games and board games.

Computer games evoke a particular fascination in me. I love to play them with my friends and quickly became interested in creating my own.  I discovered I love all parts of the design and development process from ideation and design to programming and art. I started learning development on my own time and took part in game jams to improve my skills.

For quite a while I was scared to try making my own art, but really got into it during the COVID-19 lockdowns. It took a bit to start liking the results of my work, but eventually, I started loving it. Pixel art is my favorite and I can spend hours working on different characters and animations.

I particularly enjoy researching new aspects of game design; how to make things work or work better and keeping my code short and elegant. I spent many hours at a time developing and exploring, learning about using databases, implementing multiplayer, writing shaders, and boatloads of other topics.

It's clear to me that I want to spend my professional career in the world of game design. I believe that growing up in the heart of Silicon Valley and going to a High School devoted to technology and design, have given me a unique set of experiences and skills to succeed in this industry.

Currently, I am working on my applications to a number of colleges that specialize in the field of game design, providing the right blend of computer science and creative art education. Before that, I want to complete an internship at a game design company, if possible in Japan, a country I am fascinated by and whose language I have been working hard to learn for the past year.
